I purchased a luggage plate for my 2016gs, or luggage rack, it takes the place of the passenger seat, and it came with a sheet of paper telling me to download installation instructions from the online BMW accessories and parts portal called ASAP. Think i found it but states I need dealer login. Of course dealer closed past few days. Why in earth would they not give installation instructions with the accessory?

By chance do you mean GSAP - Gear Shift Assist Pro

If so, nothing to install. Works out of the box and allows for clutchless shifts up and down. Typically works better in gears 3-6 and when shifting above 5k rpm.
