Well here is the new bike.
Well if everyone would ride a bike.....there would be no texting accidents.
On a positive note I have to praise Foremost Insurance (my insurance) they really take care of you, I had the money for my gear in my account 3 days after the accident.
As well as kudos to Woolie, should have my new 2017 GSA in my garage by Saturday, not that I am allowed to ride for another 2-3 weeks....but time to get all the farkles back on.
Thank you to all of you that have reached out .
And yes it could have been worse: Although I can now seriously claim....that I know how it feels to be hit by a truck :)

Oh no.  Sorry to hear about that.  I'm sure the broken rib is painful but it sounds like it could have been worse. There's not much that a rider can do in that situation when the idiot behind you is not paying attention. Hope you heal quickly.

So last Saturday I was riding home on 120, after picking up a part for Elaine's bike. As I come up to the jogging trail there are 4 cars stopped, waiting to let the joggers pass.
I stop, next emotion I feel and see, is top box and panniers flying around....me...thrown over the handle bar, and feeling pain....
DA (Dumbass) from Butler tire company, hit me with his F350 Super duty. My girl put up a good fight, he had to be towed too.
Kudoos to Foremost....just picked out my new 2017 GSA.
Injuries to report: broken rib, major soreness, otherwise I think I will be ok, if everyone would ride....no one would text and ride :)
