Members, greetings! Hope your summer is off to a great start!
The Atlanta Track Club is in need of 3 additional experienced riders to drive the cameramen and help film the Peachtree Road Race. I was honored to do this 2 years ago, along with Justin Kurtz and Pat Golden, and it was an absolute blast.
You and your Teutonic steed are guaranteed to be on TV! Riders should be very experienced with a pillion! Your bike needs to be equipped with side cases and a top case (although the cameramen make ask you to remove the top case, their preference). You should be very comfortable handling the bike with your pillion at slow speeds...although you will be filming the Men's Expert runners and they do flat out move it!
This duty requires showing up on your bike at 4:00 a.m. on July 4th at the Lenox Mall/Peachtree Road staging area. You will be done by 8:00 a.m. so you can enjoy the 4th with friends and family. And...oh yeah...you get PAID to do this!
