Here's my route to Iron Horse (thumbnail below, larger map attached as is the GPX route.) Plan is to leave mid-morning Friday 20th, have lunch at Tellico Kats Deli, and get to Iron Horse late afternoon. Other than some very short divided highway sections it is a lazy/curvy route that makes the most of excellent alternatives to "main drags" on roads that still have plenty of pace. Enough gas station stops along the way for those with modest capacity, gas tank or otherwise.
I know that there's five or six folks that will be on the ride. Happy to have more company.
