Ride

Just for the record.

Weather Friday and Saturday was dry and warm.  Could not have been better.  Decided to end the trip on a high and took off home late afternoon Saturday as weather forecast for Sunday was rain/heavy rain all day.  Ride up, around and back in good company.  Brisk total 325 miles/7 hours riding.  Great little trip.

Friday Home to TWoS: GA 400 to Brown’s Bridge Rd to pick up GA 9 at Coal Mountain, then as Blue on map.  Stopped at Dial Country Store for a snack.

Saturday TWoS Loop: Magneta on map.  Lunch in Copperhill/McCaysville.  Gas stop in Blue Ridge.

Saturday TWoS to Home: Red and the southern part of Blue on the map.

Anyone going a Two Wheels of Suches for the Motorrad Angels event this weekend?

Weather outlook is not the best, but I plan to make a go of it.  Expect to ride up Friday and back Sunday.  I will be camping.  I will not be doing any off-road riding.  If weather is good enough Saturday I will probably do a 100-mile or so round about northern loop  to Copperhill/McCaysville – ridden through many times but never stopped.  Company welcome.
