SOLD at full price on 5/18/18. It was hard not to cry when he drove away on "Red". I'll miss her. The guy rides a K bike, too. I told him about our club and told him to pay us a visit.

I am selling my beloved 2006 F650GS thumper "Red" (see attachment). "Red" has been very good to me, but my teen daughter needs a car, so Red must go to a new happy owner. "Red" has one of the last bulletproof Austrian-built Rotax engines. She is currently wearing Heidenau K60 scout tires (50/50) with plenty of tread, 'c-bow' luggage racks (no luggage), a V-stream sport-touring windshield with a detachable visor, Rox risers for handlebar adjustability, engine guards, factory heated grips,ABS, and a SAE battery tinder with a USB adapter at the handlebar. Red recently turned over 20k miles, and I'll still be riding her until she is sold. In addition, I am also tossing in a brand new pair of Michelin Anakee III tires and a V-stream sport windshield in case you want to make her more street oriented, my Wolfman tank bag, 2 ROC straps, some un-installed lowering links, a Haynes manual, and a map of gravel fire roads spread throughout north GA. She has only been down once (on some slippery gravel) and I had to replace the brake pedal and a blinker. Also, an old battery leaked onto the engine cover and left a small drip stain I can't remove. Current battery is one season new. She has service done at Hourglass Cycles and had all fluids replaced last year, including new fork seals. Each riding season, I change the oil twice and lube the chain monthly. The title is clean.
This is a great bike for heading up a state hwy, hitting the twisties, camping, and traveling down any fire road of interest. She can drone along at 75 mph all day and handle most any gravel. I'm selling all this for only
$3000.
I'll bring her to the rally this weekend if you want to see "Red" in the flesh. I'll miss her, but my daughter will be happy getting a down payment on a nice car. I'll be back in the saddle soon.
