I apologize for the confusion on the meet up/starting point of this ride (I was not the planner, just agreed to lead it!).
We are NOT meeting at Hourglass!
We ARE meeting at the Racetrac station (north of Gainesville exits) at the Intersection of 985/Hwy23 and Howard Road. Racetrac is at the NE corner and, for a reference point the JA Walters Family YMCA is on the NW corner. You won't miss it.
We will meet at 9:00 a.m. with a planned departure at 9:30 a.m.
The route will have us slab it up to GA 365 and into Clarkesville, where we will pick up 197 and then 76 into Clayton. I may have us stop at one of my favorite coffee stops in Sautee Nacochee, time permitting.
From there we will take Warwoman Road to NC 28 into Highlands and our lunch stop.
After lunch, we will proceed on 64 toward Franklin and then feel free to pick your own option for the return ride.
It's been a while since I've been able to join in for a ride so looking forward to seeing everyone!
