2017 Annual Meeting at Vogel State Park Recap

This year's annual meeting was held at a new venue: Vogel State Park. Around 70 members attended the event and enjoyed a hearty steak dinner with fellow members. Tommy Pilgrim and Bob Cramer cooked steaks over a large charcoal fire while T-shirts were awarded to the first recipients of the coveted "Year Roundel" recognition for participating in 12 consecutive months of club activities. Recipients of the Year Roundel award were: Susan Benson, Joe Baker, Michelle Quillin, Don Loudermilk, Bruce Grant, David Will and Geoff Maffett. After finishing off the steaks, club members gathered outside in the sunshine for a group photo of the attendees.
David Will accepts RallyMeister Role and Michelle Quillin is new Club Secretary
The Club also recognized David Will for stepping up to the task of being the Rallymeister for the 2018 Rally. David served as Registration Chair for the 2017 Rally and was instrumental in improving the efficiency of the registration process. Michelle Quillin was also recognized for stepping up to the role of Club Secretary to replace Maurice Kornreich who has served as Director at Large and most recently as Club Secretary. Thanks for your service Maurice and welcome Michelle!
A special thanks goes to the volunteers who helped pull the Annual meeting together. Michelle, Kirt, Rudy, Cathy, David, Susan, and Joe secured the food, cooking supplies, charcoal, and all the goodies needed. All were among the first to arrive and the last to leave. Great job and your efforts made it a fantastic event!
